“Happy half year”, a greeting I got from a great coach. Anyway, happy half year. It’s a great time to take a step back and think about the progress you’re making towards your goals and how your business is going.
Are you off course? Do you need to change direction?
It’s easier to know how you’re doing if you have some concrete way of measuring your progress towards your goals and to measure the performance or progress of your business.
Something like…your numbers! You must have been expecting that from me, right? After all, this is the business numbers podcast.
Remember to look at your key numbers to work out how well things are going. There’s a place for intuition and gut decisions, I use them myself, but it’s helpful to have some concrete data to refer to, so that your guts and intuition aren’t deceived by mindset issues. You want to feed good data into your gut or intuition for a it to munch on and to process and to help give you the sense of which direction you should be going.
